Area Students Receive T&I Scholarships
Rock Springs (WWCC) — Eight area high school students earned scholarships at Western Wyoming Community College’s Technology & Industry Day, April 25.
Students competed in their respective areas of interest.
Each student was awarded a $900 scholarship for Fall 2008. Winners are from Rock Springs Nicholas Lucero (welding), Jesse Rizzi (auto), Dusty Nolan (oil and gas), Chase Moody (natural gas compression technology), Josh Meduna (industrial maintenance), Thaen Watkins (electrical instrumentation); from Encampment Dane Herring (diesel technology); and from Green River, Miranda Winkel (automotive technology).
